A Little About Me...

How I Got Here

I started my professional life in advertising, marketing and public relations. I didn't love it. So when I was offered a contract communication role on an internal corporate implementation, I took it. I found that I enjoyed bringing external communication strategy into internal corporate communications. I liked being so close to the impact our program team made.

My work on that project was noticed by a boutique learning and development company who then offered me a job building a communication practice. I took it on the condition that they mentor me in adult learning theory and help me to develop those skills. That work positioned me for executive-led, high-profile projects. My work as a coach began developing informally as those executives began trusting my experience and asking for my counsel on specific issues they were having as leaders. I leveraged my network and ultimately, we learned together.

The executives I work with like that I never refer to a structured playbook. I saw each of their unique strengths as leaders and loved the work of helping them deepen those strengths while building support for areas less native to them. The access I've had to so many different styles of leadership, as well as team dynamics, grew me into the seasoned coach and consultant I am today.

My 20+ years of experience working with leaders and supporting their teams has provided the foundation for my methodology, delivering tangible results against goals and milestones while building a more rewarding and resilient work environment for my clients and their teams. My primary focus has been leaders (both existing and emerging) in fortune 100 companies across numerous industries, but I have also worked with businesses of all sizes, as well as non-profits and NGOs.

My Process

I do not plug my clients into a static process. I adapt my process to the needs of my client. Every leader and every project team is different. Everything starts with a discussion... about you and your teams, any issues you are looking to resolve quickly, long term goals you have for yourself and your teams, what success looks like... From there we will design what our working relationship will look like, tailored to your needs, and identify clear goals and milestones to keep us on track.

Our conversations are always held in confidence and conducted in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
